One of my brother's ( my oldest brother in heart) SGT. Ruiz just arrived home from Iraq. He is on leave for a couple of weeks before having to go back to finnish off his tour along with the rest of my old unit. We spoke for a while on the phone and among the many things he said one thing that gave me some comfort and good feeling was that the idiots who put toguether the bomb that killed our other friend SSGT Irrizary, were caught about two weeks afterwards by our forces. Is amazing how they are right smack in the middle of the worst area seen in the media and yet he tells me that although is no joke, everyone is upbeat and just pressing on trying to get the job done ( Hooah!). We are going to get toguether next week. I will bring him to a place I know where we can enjoy some fine Dominican cigars, good wine and a good conversation.
Can't beat doing that with a brother who will return into harms way.
